The Capital Area Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame will hold its next bimonthly meeting on Wednesday, May 25, at the Middletown Moose Lodge, 100 Mill St., Middletown.The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. A stuffed chicken dinner and the program will start at 6:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Harlem Globetrotters player Chris "Handles" Franklin. The Susquehanna Township native and Lock Haven University alumnus has toured with the Globetrotters in every state in the U.S. and in over 75 countries.

There is a fee to attend. Reservations must be made by Monday, May 23, by calling Tom Finger at 717-939-3006.

The Capital Area Chapter will hold its annual Induction Banquet on Saturday, June 11, at the Red Lion Hotel Harrisburg Hershey, 4751 Lindle Road, Harrisburg. Inductees will include Delores Bimle, Ron Collier, Arthur Cover, Ronald Davis, Sharon Etter, Hyleas Fountain, Owen Hannah, Frank Mathers, Duke McKamey, Ben Olsen, and John Wilsbach.
