Sportsmen plan activities

Manheim Sportsmen's Association, 552 Oak Tree Road, Manheim, has announced its upcoming activities. For details, visit http://www.manheimsportsmansassoc.org.

The club will host a Bingo Party on Friday, March 8, at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and bingo will start at 6:30 p.m. For more information and to purchase tickets, call 717-665-7729 or 717-468-1334 or visit the aforementioned website. Tickets include more than 20 games, and additional cards will be available for purchase at the door. Food will also be available.

Trap shooting practice will be held on Sundays, March 3 to 31, at noon. This program is open to the public. For further information, call 717-773-3183 or 717-725-4582. Beginning in April, trap shooting will no longer will held on Sundays but will occur on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

The retirees will offer a home-cooked breakfast on Monday, March 11, at 8 a.m. In addition to the meal, the program will include a speaker who is a Pennsylvania game warden along with a biologist from the Pennsylvania Game Commission. The event is open to members and nonmembers. Admission is by donation.

A membership meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 7 p.m. New member applications will be available. For more information, call 717-665-7729.

The annual Lancaster County sportsmen's banquet will take place on Saturday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Yoder's, 14 S. Tower Road, New Holland. The event will include giveaway drawings, with proceeds benefiting the Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmen and Conservationists.
