Manheim Sportsmen's Association, 552 Oak Tree Road, Manheim, has announced its upcoming activities. For details, visit http://www.manheimsportsmansassoc.org.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 6, the Manheim Central rifle team will use the indoor range each day from 3:15 to 6 p.m. On some dates, the team will not use the facilities, and the range will be available to use; a schedule is posted on the bulletin board at the Sportsmen's Association.

Due to favorable weather conditions and a high level of interest, the trap shooting program has been extended to Nov. 11. Trap shooting will take place on Wednesdays, Nov. 1 and 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Nov. 4 and 11, from 10 a.m. until noon; Saturday hours may be extended. The club will hold membership meetings on Thursdays, Nov. 9 and Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. The November meeting will include the nomination of members for officer positions for 2024. Prior to the election via paper ballots at the Dec. 14 meeting, another nomination of officers may be held if necessary. Any member in good standing who is interested in running for office may give his or her name and phone number to the membership secretary Joyce Diffenderfer, who may be contacted at 717-665-7729 or 717-468-1334.

Membership applications will be available at the meetings, and the club is also accepting membership renewals for 2024. For information on new memberships, contact Diffenderfer at one of the aforementioned numbers.

The clubhouse is reserved on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 23. The indoor range and outdoor shooting ranges will be open to members for sighting in guns.

The club will hold its final full-course breakfast in December. The club officers will announce the event date at the Nov. 9 meeting.
