Spring musical "Annie" planned

Featuring classic songs like "Tomorrow," "It's the Hard Knock Life," and "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile," the spring musical "Annie" at Lower Dauphin High School, 201 S. Hanover St., Hummelstown, is suitable for audiences of all ages. The curtain will rise at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, through Saturday, March 4, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.

On Friday, March 3, the Lower Dauphin Falcon Foundation will host a dinner theater fundraiser with a one-plate buffet-style meal and a show ticket combined. To order tickets for this event, visit http://www.ldfalconfoundation.org.

The cast features Abigail Foran as Annie, Aden Weigle as Daddy Warbucks, Audrey Meyers as Grace Farrell, Amber Abelea as Miss Hannigan, Nathan Wolfe as Bundles McCloskey, TJ Fausnight as Rooster, and Kaitlyn Hoffman as Lily St. Regis. Other seniors include Livy Carter as Pepper, Kayley Schell as Duffy, Ashlyn O'Sick as Tessie, Gabbi Pagano as Woman 2, Natalie Allman-Sheibley as Woman 6, and Antonio Mardegain, string bass player in the pit orchestra. The show will also feature students from other schools in the district.
