St. Luke's to change hours, host Kickoff Sunday

St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 222 N. Broad St. (Route 501), Lititz, will end its summer hours on Sunday, Sept. 10.

Activities on Sundays will include Sunday school at 9 a.m., with nursery care will be available. Separate classes will be available for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, youths in sixth through eighth grades, and those in ninth through 12th grades. There is also an adult Sunday school class. The worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Sept. 10 will be Kickoff Sunday, formerly known as Rally Day. In honor of that special day, St. Luke's will hold an intergenerational scavenger hunt within the church at 9 a.m. The theme is "Stop, Look and Listen! All Aboard the Sunday School Train for the Scavenger Hunt." Refreshments will be served during Kickoff Sunday.
