STEM Camp, Club And More Posted

Science Explorers and the SPARKS Foundation will offer a Spring Break Virtual Camp live on Zoom on Thursday, April 1, and Friday, April 2. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to noon both days. Participants will experiment with special bubbles, magic sand, making their own sidewalk chalk, and more.

For children unable to participate in the live sessions, a STEM lab kit is available for purchase and home delivery. Using the videos or written instructions in the kit, recipients may conduct science experiments involving colors.

In addition, the next STEM Club topic will be "Is There a Doctor in the House?" Club members will participate in five sessions beginning the week of Monday, April 5. Participants will explore medical phenomena like what runs through veins and what happens to lunch after it is eaten. Some of the experiments will include making a model of the digestive system, building a working lung model, and observing a real sheep brain. The club offers in-person, virtual, and DIY options.

There is a per-person cost, and preregistration is required. For more information and registration for all programs, readers may visit http://www.scienceexplorers.com.
