The board members of the 1813 Old Zion German Reformed Church on Riefsnyder Road in Brickerville invite the community to the annual Strawberry Social on Saturday, June 11, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event with be the 44th annual gathering at the church.

Food will be served outside on the lawn overlooking the Brubaker Valley. The menu will consist of chicken corn noodle soup, strawberries, cake, and ice cream from Fox Meadows Creamery. Whipped cream will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets for seating and trays for their food.

Proceeds from the event will help to maintain the 209-year-old church.
