The board members of the historical 1813 Old Zion German Reformed Church on Reifsnyder Road in Brickerville invite the community to the 45th annual Strawberry Social on Saturday, June 10, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event will feature chicken corn noodle soup along with strawberries on attendees' choice of cake, ice cream from a local dairy, and whipped cream. The strawberry dessert and soup will be served outside the church on the lawn overlooking the Brubaker Valley.

Attendees are advised to bring folding chairs and blankets for seating and trays for their food. Proceeds from the event will help to maintain the 210-year-old church and the surrounding property.
