The Alvernia University women's lacrosse team, which includes Victoria Gonzales of Elizabethtown, earned Academic Honors for their performances in the classroom, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

The Alvernia women's lacrosse team was one of 325 schools across all divisions to be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the 2023-24 academic year. In order to qualify, teams must post a team GPA of 3.20 or higher for the academic year.
