Student Conducts Psychology Research

Lillian Carney of Hummelstown is working on an Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) project this winter at Albright College. Through ACRE projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends.

A graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, Carney is studying psychology and early childhood education at Albright while working with Gwendolyn Seidman, professor of psychology, on "The Effects of Narcissism and Relationship Threat on Partner Perceptions and Attention to Alternative Partners."
