Morgan Creek from Marietta was a winner in the Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg Frederick Douglass Institute Creative Expressions Competition. The winners were announced on April 19.

Creek was awarded first place in the Poetry/Short Story category. The theme of the third annual event was "Frederick Douglass: The Legend, The Legacy, The Man."
