Students and alumni perform in State Honor Choir

Five current Lower Dauphin High School students and three alumni performed in the 130-member High School/Collegiate State Honor Choir at the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) summer conference at Messiah University.

The current Lower Dauphin students who participated were senior Mason Barrick, bass; sophomore Addison Fisher, alto; senior Abigail Foran, soprano; senior Silas Howard, bass; and sophomore Wren White, bass. The Lower Dauphin alumni in attendance were Andrew King, Emma McQuinn, and Mauricette Musser.

The students worked with guest clinician and world-renowned composer Andrea Ramsey. Before leaping into full-time composing and guest conducting, she held positions in music education and conducting at the Ohio State University and the University of Colorado.
