Student's Artwork Featured On Shirts

Artwork by Reid Elementary first-grader Lily Bloss was recently featured on a T-shirt that was given to all of Middletown Area School District's elementary counselors. After Reid's school counselor, Anna Smith, had the idea to create the T-shirts, she happened to notice Lily's artwork on display at the school. Lily had made the artwork for a school assignment in which she and her classmates had created paintings intended to look like stained glass windows.

With Lily's permission, Smith had the painting printed on a T-shirt, with a quote by Helen Keller on the back of the shirt. "I've been drawing since I was 2, so I'm pretty good at it," Lily noted.
