Students Eligible For Free Breakfast

Effective Oct. 3, all Penn Manor students will be eligible for free breakfasts under a state-funded Universal Free Breakfast initiative that will continue through the end of the 2022-23 school year.

This program does not include free lunches, and families are still encouraged to apply for free and reduced-price meal benefits to qualify for assistance.

By submitting an application, a child's school may receive additional funding to improve nutrition and education programs. Applying for free and reduced-price meals also can help families with fees for SAT and PSAT tests, college applications, Advanced Placement exams, and other expenses that may come up during a child's high school career. Qualifying for free and reduced-price meals also means a family may qualify for additional NSLP benefits, such as a low-cost internet service.

To learn more about the application process, visit http://www.pennmanor.net and look under "Parents" for "Food Services Forms and Resources" or call the Penn Manor School District administrative office at 717-872-9500.
