Two local students were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Pennsylvania Western University. To be eligible for this distinction, degree-seeking undergraduate students must earn a minimum semester GPA of 3.4 while taking at least 12 graded credits.

Thom Mondeaux of Columbia was recognized by PennWest Global Online. Mondeaux is studying computer information systems.

Brody Hinkle of Wrightsville was honored at PennWest Clarion. Hinkle is studying sport management.
