Students present Passion Play

The second-grade class at Our Mother of Perpetual Help School in Ephrata recently presented its annual Passion Play under the direction of second-grade teacher Beth Eberly. A long-standing tradition at OMPH School, the play depicts the last week of Jesus' life, from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. It is a tradition that helps to prepare the school community for the coming of Holy Week. The activity is also intended to give the students an opportunity to consider what Jesus endured in order to bring people the Easter message of everlasting life.
