Students' research goes on display

Columbia High School students in Melissa Mahoney-Anderson's STEM exploration classes have conducted research and created posters about the impacts that farms have on rivers like the Susquehanna. Their posters are on display at Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, 41 Walnut St., Columbia.

As a part of the students' research, pupils traveled to a local farm and to Columbia Crossing to interview professionals. The students will also return to Columbia River Park to periodically test the water there to learn more about what chemicals are in local waterways.
