Submissions Sought for Teen Art Exhibit

York County Libraries (YCL) is seeking submissions for an upcoming Teen Art Exhibit at the Martin Library, 159 E. Market St., York. The juried show is open to artists ages 12 to 18 who live in Adams or York County.

The opening reception for the Teen Art Exhibit will be held on Friday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Martin Library. During the event, first-, second-, and third-place prizes will be awarded, as well as a viewer's favorite prize. The public is invited to attend the festivities. The exhibit will be open through Friday, May 8, during the library's regular operating hours.

All artworks submitted must be the original creations of the entrant and should reflect this year's theme of "Building Community and Making Connections." Mediums can be digital, 2D, 3D or analog art. Digital renderings of original art should be submitted online for consideration by Friday, April 10.
