Mental Health America of Lancaster will present the Suicide Prevention Coalition Conference 2022 at the Eden Resort, 222 Eden Road, Lancaster, on Monday, Sept. 12. The conference will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Presidential Ballroom. Individuals may also register to attend virtually.

The keynote speaker, Govan Martin, will speak on "Preventing Suicide in a Chaotic World." The conference will also include breakfast, breakout groups, a panel discussion, lunch, and Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training or breakout groups.

This conference will help participants recognize various mental health-related warning signs across the lifespan for early intervention, identify resources to gain awareness of suicide-preventing strategies and local/national resources, and obtain tools to intervene during a crisis while facing challenges.
