Community United Methodist Church, 130 Tennyson Drive, Lancaster, will host a Sundaes and Songs event in its parking lot on Friday, July 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature a concert performed by the Lampeter-Strasburg Community Band under the direction of Howard Boots. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Children's activities will include games, rock painting and a lollipop toss, starting at 5:30 p.m. Sundaes will be served, along with plenty of toppings.

The event is free and open to the public. In the case of rain, the event will take place on Friday, July 23.
