The Mount Joy Lions Swim Team (MJLST) finished its summer season as the Lancaster Summer Swim League 2023 Blue Division champion. MJLST finished the season with a 6-1 overall record and 5-0 division record.

For over 30 years, the team has been a part of the Lancaster Summer Swim League, which comprises 22 teams throughout Lancaster County. The swim season runs from mid-May through the end of July and offers seven dual meets and a few optional invitational swim meets. The regular season concludes with a Divisional Championship meet, and then all 22 teams gather for a League Championship meet.

The MJLST is open to swimmers from Donegal and Elizabethtown communities and surrounding areas. The team seeks to provide opportunities for children to participate in competitive swimming while cultivating lifelong friendships, individual growth, and teamwork.
