Talk To Focus On Dauphin County's Waters

Participants will learn about Dauphin County's waterways during the Tap Talks: Healing Dauphin County's Waters as Ted Evgeniadis, the Lower Susquehanna riverkeeper, takes a deep dive into the state of local streams and the Susquehanna River. The program will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Appalachian Brewing Company, 50 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg, on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Attendees will learn about the progress Dauphin County and its neighboring counties and states have made improving local streams and rivers, the further work that needs to be done to continue healing local waters, and the history of the Clean Water Act and why 50 years is a historic landmark. Attendees will also enjoy an evening of networking.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants. Space is limited, and preregistration is recommended.
