The Fortunatos To Perform In Honey Brook

The Fortunatos will perform on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 4 p.m. as part of the Honey Brook Borough Concerts in the Park series. The group was originally slated to perform on Aug. 7, but the concert was rescheduled to due to inclement weather.

The Fortunatos specialize in New Orleans funk and will play tunes by the Neville Brothers, the Meters, Dr. John, Santana, Eric Clapton, B.B. King and others. For more information about the band and to listen to music samples, visit http://www.paulcolombomusic.com/the-fortunatos.

The concert will take place in Honey Brook Borough Park, 71 Pequea Ave. (Route 10), Honey Brook, which is located behind the Honey Brook Post Office. In lieu of an admission fee, nonperishable food items will be accepted for the Honey Brook Food Pantry.

Concert attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating, as well as picnic dinners. Alcoholic beverages and pets are not permitted in the park.

In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel will be made by 1 p.m. on the day of the show. A cancellation message will be recorded on the borough phone line at 610-273-2020.
