The Manada Conservancy will host an online program, "The Perils of Plastic," on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. Guest speaker Sherri Mason, a plastic pollution researcher, will discuss the proliferation of plastics in society, plastic's emergence as one of the most prominent environmental pollutants, and the prevalence of microplastics in freshwater systems.
