Tolossa researches religion, medicine

Etsub Tolossa of Mountville is working on an Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) project this winter at Albright College. Through ACRE projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends.

A graduate of Penn Manor High School, Tolossa is studying biochemistry and religious studies at Albright while working with Andrew Mbuvi, visiting associate professor of religious studies and NEH Chair, on "Religion and Medicine Among African American Christians: Investigating the Tendency Among Some African American Christians to Trust in God/Religion for Healing Than in Medicine."
