All seven students at Albright College, Reading, who applied for The Washington Center's competitive 2023 Inside Washington seminar have been accepted to participate in the fully funded opportunity. The one-week seminar will be held in Washington, D.C., from Tuesday, Jan. 3, through Wednesday, Jan. 11.

Local participants include Etsub Tolossa of Mountville. Tolossa is studying biochemistry and religious studies at Albright College.

During the weeklong seminar in Washington, D.C., students from across the country will interact with experts and public figures, explore different career paths, and go behind the scenes of organizations in the city where history is made. The bipartisan program's aim is to help college students understand the impact of the political process and see how they can play a role in shaping democracy as citizens, students, and professionals.
