Manheim Township has completed its Parks and Recreation Planning initiatives following a 19-month process led by project consultant Michael Baker International.

The Parks Master Plan lays out a 10-year roadmap for park development, enhancement, and long-term planning. Complementing it, the 5-Year Parks Strategic Plan outlines a detailed set of strategic goals with objectives, timeframes, and deliverables. The plans aim to ensure the township is well positioned to strengthen resident engagement and support within township parks, maintain long-term financial sustainability, establish operational directives that align with community needs, and provide clear staffing and personnel recommendations.

The completion of these initiatives marks a major milestone in ensuring that Manheim Township's parks and recreation system remains a valuable resource for all residents.
