Loretta "Dutch" Townsley celebrated her 102nd birthday on Sept. 24. She gathered with her closest family and friends to mark the occasion.

She has two sons, Steve Townsley of Wrightsville and the late Rick Townsley. She also has three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and three sisters.
