Traditions Of Hershey Holds Egg Hunt, Sets Craft Show

Traditions of Hershey hosted a children's Easter egg hunt on March 30. The attendees were 18 children ages 1 to 6 and 11 women from the MOMS Club of Derry Township, a group geared toward stay-at-home moms and moms who work part time.

Residents of Traditions of Hershey helped fill and scatter the pastel-colored eggs that dotted the yard just off the patio, and some were also present to assist with snacks and beverages while others watched as the youngsters placed the eggs into their baskets.

The senior living community also provided the group and its residents with hot chocolate and cookies and a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny. Each child took home bubbles and a goodie bag.

Traditions of Hershey also announced that it will present an outdoor craft show on Saturday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to noon. The rain date is scheduled for Saturday, May 1. Vendors will offer handmade crafts and decor, upcycled antiques, homemade desserts and more.

Attendees should wear a mask and practice social distancing. Admission and parking will be free. Vendor spaces are available; if interested, call Marisa Williams, marketing director, at 717-838-2230.
