The Manheim Lions Club recently honored Chase Travitz as the December Student of the Month.

Chase is enrolled in the carpentry technology program at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center's Mount Joy campus, where he has maintained an A average and perfect attendance. He qualified for the CTC Advanced Placement Internship (API) in his program, given his outstanding performance, his attendance, and the recommendation of his instructors. He has been hired in a co-op position in construction, and he plans to continue working in the field upon graduation. He is involved in the Student Ambassador program at CTC. He is also a member of Manheim Central's varsity baseball team.
