Local residents are invited to participate in a senior getaway to Camp Ladore (Salvation Army Camp) in Waymart in the Northern Pocono Mountains. The trip will depart from Grace Community Church in Willow Street on Monday, Sept. 25, and return on Friday, Sept. 29.

Activities will include shuffleboard, pontoon boat rides on the lake, miniature golf, nature walks, craft classes, bingo and puzzles. The facility also has a heated indoor pool, and each year, there is an auction for the benefit of the camp.

Additionally, trip participants may join in a choir, learn to the play the bells and take part in a tambourine program. One evening there will be a talent show. There will also be morning and evening vespers services.
