Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will host a Trunk or Treat and Movie Night for trick-or-treaters on Friday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. Church members and friends will decorate nearly 20 vehicles and give out safe treats in the church parking lot.

Beginning at 7:15 p.m., all community members are invited to watch the animated movie "Ferdinand" on a giant, outdoor inflatable screen. Attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs, blankets, a warm wrap or a sleeping bag for seating. Free popcorn and drinks will be provided. If the weather is too cold or wet, the movie will be shown in the church Family Life Center.
