Twisted Pine To Perform In Concert

The Susquehanna Folk Music Society will sponsor a concert by genre-bending young string band Twisted Pine on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York, 925 S. George St., York.

Twisted Pine is a Boston-based group consisting of Kathleen Parks on fiddle and lead vocals; Dan Bui on mandolin; Chris Sartori on bass; and the newest addition, Anh Phung on flute, with all members providing vocals. The group has been influenced by Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Sierra Hull, Billy Strings, The Wood Brothers, Lake Street Dive and Crooked Still.

Twisted Pine is currently touring in support of its 2020 release, "Right Now." The art from this sophomore album pays homage to Father John Misty and Tex Logan.
