United Way raises funds through golf event

United Way of Chester County has announced that its recent Chester County Stronger Golf Classic fundraiser raised $100,000 for its Community Impact & Innovation Fund. The sold-out event brought together golf enthusiasts and community members who are passionate about making a difference in their local communities while enjoying an afternoon of fellowship and fun. The event included hole contests, on-course refreshment stations, a luncheon, a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres, a dinner and awards.

The winning groups were the PrecisionPro team, consisting of Jonah Mytro, John Glenhill and Eric Cappos, first place; CTDI, made up of Brian Parsons, Rob Sandora, Sean Parsons and Allison Baratta, second; and Gallagher, consisting of Tim Gillan, Ernest Gillan, Mark Gentilotti and Robert Dollfus, third.

The closest-to-the-hole winners were Aaron Proietti in the men's category and Diane Hershey in the women's category. The longest-drive winners were Sean Scull for the men and Jen Tintenfass for the women.

Next year's event will be held on April 29, 2024, at Penn Oaks Golf Club. To learn more, visit http://www.LiveUnitedInGolf.org or call 610-429-9400.
