The Arts at Millersville University (Arts MU) has unveiled the upcoming 2022 to 2023 performing arts season. Events will take place throughout the year at two locations: the Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center on Millersville University's campus and the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. Many programs are low to no cost due to the sponsorship of community partners.

Arts MU presents several series of arts entertainment. The Performing Arts Series includes concerts and shows from multiple genres, including world and classical music, theatrical productions, and Family Fun Fest shows selected for families of all age ranges. On Screen/In Person is a series of free documentary films that offer a community panel discussion of the topic and a live post-show question-and-answer session with the director or filmmaker. Club 42 offers jazz and cabaret artists in a club-style setting with table seating and a cash bar. We The People First Fridays are monthly presentations that showcase local talent and an accompanying monthlong local artist exhibit.

Events at the Ware Center will include Sandeep Das and the HUM Ensemble on Friday, Sept. 16; On Screen/In Person: "Old Friends: A Dogumentary" on Tuesday, Sept. 27; We The People First Friday: "Art Heals - The Jingle Dress Project" on Friday, Nov. 4; and the Brandee Younger Quartet in Club 42 on Saturday, Nov. 5. At the Winter Center, audiences can enjoy performances such as the Family Fun Fest program "Love Happens" presented by The Silhouettes on Sunday, Nov. 13, and a concert by the Soweto Gospel Choir on Saturday, Nov. 19.
