Elizabethtown Area High School has named Xsavier Vargas as the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for February. This honor is awarded to Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) students in recognition of their exceptional work ethic, skill, and knowledge in their chosen field.

Xsavier resides in Elizabethtown with his mother, Maritza Saldana. He is enrolled in LCCTC's Painting and Interior Finish program, which prepares students for careers as installers and finishers. In this program, students gain hands-on experience using state-of-the-art spray equipment and power tools to master professional painting techniques, ceramic tile installation, and vinyl flooring installation.

Xsavier is known for his dedication, leadership, and excellence in all aspects of his education. His outstanding attendance, exemplary behavior, and deep respect for both peers and instructors make him a standout student. Beyond his own academic and technical achievements, Xsavier is a mentor and role model to his classmates. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, offering guidance and encouragement to those who may be struggling. He was also recognized for his positive attitude, commitment to learning, drive for success, strong work ethic, and determination.
