Veritas Community posts sermon series

The Veritas Community will kick off a new four-week sermon series on Sunday, Dec. 3. The Advent series, titled "Arrival," will focus on the Old Testament prophets, who spoke from the perspective of their own times under the kings of Israel and Judah but told of the coming of a greater ruler whose kingdom will have no end.

The sermons will be "The King's City: Safe and Secure," based on Jeremiah 33:14-16, on Dec. 3; "The King's Herald: Announcing the King!" based on Malachi 3:1-4 on Dec. 10; "The King Will Have His Day," based on Zephaniah 3:14-20, on Dec. 17; and "The King's Royal Roots: Back to the Future," based on Micah 5:2-15, on Dec. 24.

The Veritas Community gathers every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at HUB 450, 450 N. Prince St., Lancaster, with the first 15 minutes of the gathering dedicated to fellowship time. For more information, visit http://www.veritas.community, email Ryan Braught at ryan@veritaschurchpa.org or call 717-572-5914.
