Veritas Preschool will hold an open house on Tuesday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 7 p.m. The school is located at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster. Families that are considering enrolling their child in preschool for the 2022-23 school year are invited to attend the event.

Families will have opportunities to explore Veritas Preschool's classrooms, meet teachers, and learn about the school's curriculum and schedule options. Children are encouraged to come along and play at classroom stations and through activities.

Currently, the school has openings in the 3- and 4-year-old preschool classes for next school year, with two-morning and three-morning class options available.

Veritas Preschool at Highland offers a Christ-centered program for 3- to 5-year-olds. The teachers support parents in helping to prepare children academically, socially, and spiritually for their next steps in school and beyond.

A fully licensed preschool currently serving about 50 students, Veritas Preschool opened in September 2014 as a branch of Veritas Academy, a classical Christian school in Leola. Director Meghan Lake holds a degree in elementary education and Bible from Appalachia Bible College and has been teaching at Veritas Preschool since 2014.
