The Central Pennsylvania Vietnam Round Table will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, at Vietnam Veterans of America, Michael J. Novosel MOH Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Following a brief business meeting, Grady Smith of Arlington, Va., will discuss his Vietnam experiences as a company commander with D Company, 6th Battalion, 31st Infantry, 9th Infantry Division in 1968.

For service to the country, Smith was awarded the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with V Device and Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart, and Meritorious Service Medal, as well as several Army commendations, several Air Medals, and Vietnam medals.
