Virtual Library Schedule Posted

Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Road, York, will offer a variety of programs to the community. Programs and activities will be held virtually on Facebook or via Zoom. Family Story Times on Zoom will be held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. through April 26. Miss Kelly from the Guthrie Memorial Library will host the event. Reservations are required to receive the Zoom link.

Digital Babies and Toddlers Story Time, designed for children birth to age 3, will be held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. through April 6. The fun-filled recorded story time video will be offered on Facebook.

Digital Pre-School Story Time is open to children ages 3 to 5 on Facebook. The recorded story time video will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays through April 7.

Sensory Story Time on Zoom, designed for children ages 2 to 5, will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursdays. The program will feature interactive book-based experiences, music, playtime, and socialization for the whole family. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Tween programs, for students ages 9 to 12, will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The events will be livestreamed via Zoom, and reservations are required. On Feb. 9, The Danger Club will meet from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. On Feb. 23, the Library Squad will help shape programming for tweens.

Murder at the Library, a virtual author event, will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The book selection is "One Day You'll Burn" by Joseph Schneider. Participants will visit online with the author. More details are forthcoming.

One Book, One Community: Our Region Reads! has announced the 2021 regional selection, "Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper" by Phaedra Clark. Library members are encouraged to read the book in advance in preparation for free programs and discussions that will be held through public libraries beginning in February.

Susquehanna Folk Music Society will present a livestreamed performance by the Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13. Four Harrisburg area musicians will sing and play jazz, swing, bluegrass, folk, pop, and more. Admission is free, but preregistration is requested.
