The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is seeking volunteers. VITA provides free tax preparation services for low- and moderate-income households from February through April.

Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters, interpreters and tax preparers at various locations. The hours are flexible, with three- to five-hour time slots available during days, evenings and weekends. No prior experience is necessary. Free online training with optional classroom help is available.
