Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania (VROCP) will hold its signature fundraising event, Visions of Monte Carlo (VMC), on Thursday, April 18. This year will be the 24th VMC celebration and the community is welcome to attend.

All net proceeds will support the mission of the agency to facilitate independence, enrich the quality of life and empower individuals who are visually impaired or otherwise disabled through prevention, employment and educational awareness.

VROCP announced that once again PA District 14-T Lions Clubs will be lead sponsors. VMC is an entertaining event that brings friends, families and donors together in recognition of all that VROCP works to achieve for the clients and communities it serves. The evening features a plated meal, live and silent auctions, dancing to the musical variety of the One More Time band and games.

VMC will take place from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Sheraton Harrisburg/Hershey Hotel, 4650 Lindle Road, Harrisburg. Tickets are are available online at http://www.vrocp.org or by calling 717-238-2531. The deadline for reservations is Thursday, April 4.

The agency's services extend to Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Perry counties.
