Wagman recognized by ABC Keystone

Wagman Construction, a member of ABC Keystone, had two projects recognized at this year's ABC Keystone Excellence in Construction Awards Gala. The Excellence in Construction Awards are given based on the work performed on projects by local member contractor firms.

During the gala, held on Nov. 9, Wagman received an Excellence Award for the David H. Martin Excavating - Office Expansion and Renovation in the Commercial $2 to $10 Million category, and a Merit Award for the DreamWrights Phase II project in York in the Renovation under $1 Million category. The David H. Martin Excavating office expansion and renovation project was a Project of the Year finalist.

The David H. Martin Excavating Office Expansion and Renovation project exceeded the client's expectations despite project challenges, which included material lead time issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project features unique industrial finishes, including exposed ceilings and structural steel, interior brick veneer, wood accent walls and an open air, two-level atrium in the center of the building.

The historic renovation of DreamWrights Center for Community Arts included various challenges throughout the course of the project, including unforeseen structural conditions, which required the use of innovative construction methodologies. Despite the challenges, Wagman was able to deliver a high-quality project to DreamWrights.

Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with major operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Founded in 1902, Wagman is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year. For more information, visit http://www.wagman.com.
