Walk To End Epilepsy Set

The Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania (EFEPA) will hold its third annual Walk to End Epilepsy - Lancaster on Saturday, Oct. 16. Community members from across the region will join the EFEPA at the Lancaster Barnstormers' stadium, 650 N. Prince St., Lancaster, for a day of celebration and raising funds and awareness for the local epilepsy community. On-site registration will open at 9 a.m. and the walk will step off at 10 a.m.

The walk is noncompetitive, family-friendly, and open to the public. Registration is free, with fundraising encouraged. All funds raised will be put to immediate use in continuing to provide free support services, programs, and resources to local individuals and families living with epilepsy and seizure disorders.

Activities will include a noncompetitive walk around the stadium concourse, warning track, and bases; a complimentary chicken barbecue lunch to all attendees; children's activities, including access to the Kid Zone; giveaways and prizes; and networking and community building.
