Ware Center to host South Korean theater group

The Arts at Millersville University will present "Poli Pop," a theatrical production by South Korea's Brush Theatre, on Saturday, April 20, at 1 p.m. at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster.

In "Poli Pop," Poli and Pola are siblings who do not want to go to sleep, so their imagination takes them on a dreamlike journey full of surprises. Using technology and special effects, the set transforms from an empty room into faraway islands, roaring seas, the Egyptian desert, busy cities, dance parties, and more. What the duo does not know is that a ferocious alien monster is lurking in the shadows. The production features colorful lights, projection mapping, live music, and Foley sounds.

This performance is made possible with support from the High Foundation.

Kid-friendly pre-show activities will begin in the lobby at noon, doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 1 p.m.

This performance will feature American Sign Language interpretation and sensory-friendly accommodations.
