Wayside Presbyterian Church, 600 Stony Battery Road, Landisville, will host its ninth annual Trunk 'n' Treat event on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the community. It was created especially for children through grade six, and kids must be accompanied by an adult to participate.

Wayside members will park their decorated cars in the lower parking lot, which will be closed to traffic, and open their trunks to pass out candy or other treats to kids. Additional children's activities will be hosted by the Wayside youth leadership, including Sonja Eckert, Christian formation admin manager, and Rachel Holsey, youth coordinator. Chips, hot dogs, and drinks will be served at no charge while supplies last. Grace Notes, Wayside's contemporary band, will provide live seasonal music.

The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors.
