WCR Center Appoints New Board Member

The WCR Center for the Arts has appointed Kay Haring as the newest member of its board of directors. With a background in nonprofit leadership and a dedication to community service, Haring brings valuable experience and a shared passion for the arts to the organization.

Haring officially joined the board in May and is already contributing her expertise in fundraising and administration. She has previously served on the boards of various arts, science, and social service organizations in Berks County.

Her vision for the WCR Center includes continued preservation of the facility; raising awareness about its history and acoustics; and expanding its role as a sought-after venue for weddings, celebrations, and community events.

The WCR Center's initiatives include arts education for low- to moderate-income families and partnerships with local nonprofits. The performance hall is known for its acoustics, which draw artists and audiences from around the world.
