Webinar to focus on National Champion Tree Program

Penn State Extension will hold a live webinar, "Finding America's Giants: the National Champion Tree Program," on Monday, April 28, at 8 a.m.

Housed at the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture's School of Natural Resources, the National Champion Tree Program documents and conserves the nation's largest trees with the help of foresters, arborists, certified tree measurers, and community members. In the one-hour webinar, Jaq Payne, national director of the National Champion Tree Program, will share how community members may help to find, measure, and protect these trees. Continuing education credits are available for a fee.
