West Art posts Christmas concert

West Art, 800 Buchanan Ave., Lancaster, will present a concert featuring LaLaLuna, a women's vocal ensemble, and James Lipka on solo guitar on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

The evening of music will be a celebration of Christmas traditions from near and far. The program will include inventive arrangements of familiar carols, as well as new favorites, in styles from pop to folk to jazz. Lipka will open the program.

This event is free, but audience members are asked to bring the following items for hygiene kits: adult-size toothbrushes, individually packaged; large bar bath soap in its original wrapper; good-quality nail clippers; hand towels, medium weight in dark or bright colors; and wide-toothed combs.

The kits are distributed by Mennonite Central Committee wherever there is need in the world. Cash donations will also be accepted.

The venue is ADA accessible, and all are welcome.
