WHS Holds Homecoming

Warwick High School (WHS) held its annual homecoming celebration on Sept. 24. The 2021 homecoming queen, Ella Brechbill, was crowned by Student Council members during halftime of the varsity football game against Hempfield High School.

In addition to Brechbill, the homecoming queen candidates were Ann Barney, Kayla Bennecoff, Kyla Butkiewicz, Clara Ford, Bella Johnsen, Allison Keeney, Mia Perrotti, Emily Peters, and Chloe Zook.

Ann Barney is the daughter of John and Jill Barney of Lititz. At school, she is president of National Honor Society (NHS), co-president of Interact, vice president of the Class of 2022, and a member of the Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS), and Link Crew. She serves as co-captain of the girls' tennis team, and she is a thrower on the track and field team. Outside school, she is a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, is a Girl Scout, and takes part in Underrated Ministries at City Gate Lititz. Following graduation, she plans to major in nursing.

Kayla Bennecoff is the daughter of Michael and Stephanie Bennecoff of Lititz. At school, Kayla is secretary of SNHS, a student ambassador, and captain of the Warriorettes dance team. Outside school, she is a member of the CoJoMotion Dance Company at Lititz Academy of Dance, where she teaches younger students. Following graduation, she plans to attend college to major in psychology and minor in Spanish, as well as take part in the college dance team.

Ella Brechbill is the daughter of David and Katrina Brechbill of Lititz. At school, she is vice president of Student Council and a member of NHS, National Art Honor Society (NAHS), and Unite Club. She plays tennis. Outside school, she is active in the youth group and worship team at Newport Church. She is also a member of Underrated Ministries, a student-led Bible study at City Gate - Lititz. Following graduation, she plans to attend college to study graphic design and web design.

Kyla Butkiewicz is the daughter of Doug Groff of Ephrata and Teri Butkiewicz of Lititz. At school, Kyla is a member of Aevidum. Following graduation, she hopes to eventually own a bakery.

Clara Ford is the daughter of Ken Ford of Harrisburg and Megan Browne of Lititz. At school, Clara is a member of NHS, SNHS, Link Crew, Hype Club, and Unite Club. She plays lacrosse. Outside school, she is a member of the Lancaster Evangelical Free Church youth group. Following graduation, she hopes to attend college on a pre-med track.

Bella Johnsen is the daughter of Robert and Rebekah Johnsen of Lititz. At school, she is a member of Student Council, NHS, and SNHS, and she serves as vice president of the Interact Club and a Link Crew leader. She plays tennis. Outside school, she is a member of Lititz Woman's Club and attends LCBC Church in Manheim. After graduation, Bella plans to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to study architectural design.

Allison Keeney is the daughter of Robert and Wendi Keeney of Lititz. At school, Allison is a member of Student Council and Link Crew, and she plays volleyball and lacrosse. Outside school, she plays lacrosse with Lanco Elite. Following graduation, she plans to attend college for nursing.

Mia Perrotti is the daughter of Christopher Perrotti of Cape May, N.J., and Kelly Perrotti of Lititz. At school, Mia is a member of NAHS, Link Crew, and Unite Club. She is captain of the cheerleading squad and plays lacrosse. Outside school, Mia coaches with the Warwick Youth Cheerleading program. Following graduation, she plans to attend college to become an elementary school teacher.

Emily Peters is the daughter of Ryan Peters of Manheim and Nicole Peters of Lititz. At school, she is a member of PALS and Link Crew. She plays soccer and helps out with Unified Track. Outside school, she attends LCBC Manheim, where she is active in the youth group. Following graduation, she plans to attend college to become an esthetician.

Chloe Zook is the daughter of Brian and Jacki Zook of Lititz. At school, she is a Student Council representative, a member of NHS and SNHS, and captain of the girls' soccer team. Outside school, she is a member of Grace Church in Lititz, and she plays club soccer. Following graduation, she plans to go to college to major in nursing.
